Description:
Fresh pineapple puree 1kg consists of 90% pineapple and 10% cane sugar. No added colouring agents or preservatives.
Our supplier has selected pineapple from Costa Rica. Indeed, the pineapple grows mainly in the warm regions of the southern hemisphere. The cultivation of this exotic fruit requires unique know-how: the plant must be fertilised and then harvested at the right time to ensure its unmistakable flavour. Thus the pineapples for the fruit puree acquire unique characteristics: a high sugar level, no acidity, a sunny yellow colour, a fruity taste and a fibrous texture true to that of fresh fruit. The pineapples selected to produce the puree are grown in lush vegetation and the fruit is harvested by hand.
The fresh pineapple puree has a lingering taste profile in the mouth with a very pronounced acidity and distinct sweetness.
All fresh fruit purees are Kosher and Halal certified. Explore the flavours of fresh fruit puree: citrus, berries, exotic fruits and more.

Producer:
Ponthier strives to ensure full traceability, presenting the variety, the geographical location and the producer or collector. This traceability is the history of each fruit, the attention paid to the agricultural know-how and the qualities transmitted by the soil. Each flavour of fruit puree has a traceability of the land, and for 36 references Ponthier already gives a growing region. Ponthier decided to go even further to meet consumer demands and continued its efforts with the creation of the PURE TRACE label, which reinforces traceability by indicating the name of the grower and the place of harvest for 19 flavours.
And to go one step further, Ponthier is launching the Live Trace project, which allows users to see orchards live via a webcam, accessible by flashing a QR code on the purees' packaging.
