The grapes for the “Collection” line come from vineyards selected by the cellar master. The selected grapes produce a ripe and powerful, elegant and long-lasting wine.
Grape varieties: Merlot
Growing area/climate: Warm, sun-exposed vineyards on weathered porphyry; 250–300 meters above sea level.
Harvest: Mid to late October.
Vinification: After traditional maceration in steel tanks, the young wine is aged in large oak barrels and then in the bottle.
Pairing: hearty meat dishes, grilled dark meat, game, wild fowl, and spicy cheese.
