Description

Preserving sugar 3plus1 is used for extra fruity spreads with an extra full fruit flavor. As the name suggests, three parts of fruit are added to one part of preserving sugar, so the 500 g package is precisely tailored to 1.5 kg of fruit. In addition to sugar, preserving sugar 3plus1 contains pectins as a gelling agent, citric acid as an acidifier and sorbic acid as a preservative. After only 4 minutes of cooking, you can conjure up delicious spreads with a particularly high fruit content with the preserving sugar 3plus1.

Preparation instructions:
Fruity spreads
Weigh and wash 1.5 kg of sweet, ripe fruit
Remove stems, stones, peel, puree
Mix the puree with the whole package (500 g)

Something special: with pieces of fruit
Mash the prepared fruit ½, cut ½ very finely, mix with the preserving
sugar and let it steep for at least 3 hours (overnight if necessary)

Preparation from fruit juice
Juice the fruits (unsweetened) with hot water and let the juice cool down.
Mix 1250 ml of cold juice with the whole packet

Cooking process
Put the food in a saucepan that should not be more than half full (prevents overcooking).
Bring everything to a boil over high heat while stirring until all of the food is vigorously bubbling.

Now the cooking time begins!
Let simmer for 4 minutes while continuing to stir
fill jars rinsed with hot water to the brim with the hot mass and
immediately close tightly with the screw cap.

Ingredients: Sugar, gelling agent pectins, acidifier citric acid, preservative sorbic acid (plant-based pectins)

Storage: Protect from moisture and heat.
