South Tyrol is known for its high-quality wines, produced by hand and aged in wood or stainless steel barrels. First of all, the selected grapes are picked by hand by the farmers, then brought to the farm or to the winery. There they are sorted and pressed and the fermentation of the grapes for red wine and the grape juice for white wine begins. After fermentation, the wine is stored so that it can develop and absorb the final aromas. The wine is then bottled, labeled and ready for sale.
