The Lagrein grape variety is native to South Tyrol and has been cultivated here since the 14th century. Today, it is one of the best grape varieties in the region. This Lagrein is deep dark red with a structured body and wonderful spicy notes.

HARVEST
Early October; harvesting and grape selection by hand.
AGEING
Fermentation in steel tanks. Followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing in large wooden barrels.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Pairs well with hearty dishes such as lamb tripe, roasts, game dishes, and spicy cheeses.
