The grapes grow on slopes between 250 and 500 meters above sea level in the hillsides of the St. Magdalener area above Bolzano and ripen into a medium-bodied red wine with fruity and floral notes that pairs well with many dishes from South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine.

Growing region/climate: St. Magdalena above Bolzano, with gravelly soils
Harvest: Early to mid-October
Winemaking: Carefully selected grapes are fermented traditionally and aged in large oak barrels.
