Made according to an old recipe, Hauswurst is an integral part of South Tyrolean cuisine.

Production: The typical South Tyrolean raw sausage is traditionally made from beef and pork. The base mixture is refined with natural spices.

Enjoyment: Traditionally, the house sausage in South Tyrol is eaten cooked, but it can also be grilled
The sausage should be cooked in water for around 20 minutes.

The cooked Hauswurst is excellent served with sour cabbage and is also a popular ingredient in traditional meat platters.
